At Treow Celebrants we want to celebrate and honour life’s big events.
Treow is the old English word for tree. However, it also has another meaning. Treow can also mean loyalty and faithfulness. It is an assurance of faith or a promise or covenant.
Our ceremonies
You’ll notice that the ceremonies are linked to plants. Trees and plants have an ancient history of being used to symbolise love, life and death, giving roses to the one you love, planting poppies for remembrance, or getting a tattoo of a plant to symbolise a major life event or life journey.
